This session focuses on the older teen and young adult age group and includes discussion and activities related to the impact we have as educators, facilitators and leaders on the cognitive, social, emotional, mental and physical well-being of our youth. We will explore games, activities fitness and progressions that can be used with children of varied abilities to achieve multiple outcomes—and share ideas for engaging parents, guardians and the community in these activities.

Teachers will also work with Ted and colleagues that make use of technology and other innovative tools/techniques for incorporating a fitness emphasis in High School P.E.  Assessment and Evaluation will also be incorporated into this session and a particular highlight will be discussion and activities that help teachers engage students and their families in taking increased responsibility for their participation in P.E.
